Pre- “DT”

DT is a CrossFit hero workout, https://www.crossfit.com/workout/2009/04/14#/comments. I haven’t decided if I’m going to do this with 155# or drop to 135# yet, but I want to keep the time to under 15 minutes (per Pat Sherwood’s/Linchpin’s recommendations).

I was thinking about this last night — I haven’t been lifting on a regular basis and definitely not as strong as I used to be — I remember doing this at CrossFit Rubicon (maybe in 2010?) and I think the last time I did this I scaled the weight down — yup, 115# and it took 9 min 37 sec; if I remember correctly, this wasn’t long after a rhabdo diagnosis so I think I took my time with it.

So maybe the question is, can I do it at 155# without destroying myself and under 14-15 minutes? I think it’s iffy, and I wont really know until I warm up with some weight on the bar. If 155# feels heavy, I’m going to drop it to 135#, if 155# feels fine, I’ll keep it and have an Rx’d data point.
