Day 2 Recap

I didn’t do horrible. My throat felt like absolute shit and I was still sore from the workout (glutes, legs, chest, back, arms — pretty much my entire body). I think lack of sleep was a partial factor — the dogs let me sleep in until about 6am today.

For Day 2, I did my 3 hard-boiled eggs for breakfast along with half a grapefruit and Theraflu. I snacked on the other half of the grapefruit throughout the day. I finally cooked my proteins (4 chicken thighs and half-sirloin steak) — nothing special — just threw some seasoning on it and did an easy bulk prep.

I tried to drink a full cup of water when I thought about it — which only happened 3-4 times.

For lunch I had the steak with salad and snacked on some mixed nuts. I was still a little hungry to I ate a chicken thigh as well. For dinner, I had another salad and 2 chicken thighs.

I went back to the grocery store to get some berries for K, but picked up some more protein (chicken breasts, steak, ground beef) as well as some ingredients for salsa (red onion, Roma tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeno, chili powder), and some avocados because they looked good.

No workout for the day aside from a short walk for the dogs in the evening.
