Day 10: AM Check-in

I weighed myself this morning before drinking any fluids — I was at 231.4 lbs — Week 2’s target weight is 230.

I’m not getting too wrapped up in the numbers, especially as I’ve kept some pretty normal things in my diet.

I do like the distance work (alternating row/jog 5kms) I think itt’s a good distance that is doable everyday and will help with building endurance along with the calorie burning. I might do another 5k jog today and then take a break and do some lifting tomorrow. I do need to incorporate some mobility work on a daily basis as I know tightness, especially in my legs (hamstrings and quads) has been an issue for a long time.

I need to prep some of the protein I have: cook the steak and another set of wings sometime this morning/lunch. I didn’t get any additional greens, but there’s still mixed greens in the fridge that are good until the 30th. I need to get better with planning my meals.

Talked with MP yesterday regarding a job in town. He’s the CEO of a small contracting company. He seems ok. The job description seems ok as well. As a follow-up I need to get him my updated resume.

I want to come up with a list of tasks I want to get done — it’s always changing and growing, but I think a daily morning prioritization check is good — nothing crazy, but it’s good to be able to look at a schedule and know what’s going on in the day.
