Day 1 Recap

Ended up at Yu Noodles for lunch — ate more than I should have and not great quality food.

At the end of the day, my throat was hurting and was annoyed.

I didn’t get a chance to weigh myself, so I don’t know where I ended up at — not a biggie since I’m not trying to lose 2lbs/day, but 2lbs/week; again, a reminder from yesterday that progress will and should be slow and steady.

I think I beat myself up with the workout pretty good yesterday; I didn’t think that it would be that bad, but I forgot about easing into things, especially after the Spring Break lull.

Today I’m going to take an easy day: just walk the dogs, do the meal prep I was planning to do, and probably mow the lawn. I also want to get some appointments scheduled for my physical and dental (including requesting more retainers). It probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to schedule a session with a counselor just to touchbase. I also need to follow-up with a cardiologist. Oh, busy days.
